1. Larry E. Bowen, 69, of Newport Center passed away on October 25, 2022 at his home. He was born on January 28, 1953 in Newport, VT to the late Harold and Bertice (Armstrong) Bowen.
Larry was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He worked many different jobs upon his discharge with his most recent being a truck driver for Green Mountain Mulch and Lafayette Construction. He was a member of the NRA, enjoyed fishing and ice fishing, hunting, playing darts, loved to go to camp and loved to celebrate the 4th of July as it was his favorite holiday.
He is survived by his wife Linda (Carton) Bowen, daughter Hope Bowen and her husband Clint Stevens, grandchildren Alex Marsh Sr., Devon Daggett and wife Kate, and Tyrell Dowland, great grandchildren Kendall and Alex Marsh Jr., Daltton, Kacey, Key Key, DK, and Beverley Anne Daggett, his brother Lance Bowen and wife Linda, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Audrey Tetreault.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday November 5, 2022 at West Village Cemetery in West Charleston, with full military honors. David Nicholas Ocenasek, age 74, of Higgins Lake, MI died at his residence Thursday March 5, 2020. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday, April 4th, at St Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morris rd., Swartz Creek. Fr. Luis Ekka Celebrant. Visitation will be 2-4 pm and 5-8 pm Friday April 3rd at Sharp Funeral Home, Miller rd Chapel, 8138 Miller rd., Swartz Creek, where rosary will be prayed at 7 pm at the funeral home. David was born March 28, 1945. He graduated from Swartz Creek High School. After graduation David joined the Army National Guard and worked for General Motors in skilled trades. David married Diane Lorene Willhelm November 19, 1988 and they resided in Swartz Creek MI until he retired in 1997 and moved to Higgins Lake. Dave loved the outdoors and his favorite pastime was hunting and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his ""girls"" and all his grandchildren and his black lab, Tessa.

John loved music of all kinds and enjoyed playing the guitar and accordion, he also enjoyed going to car shows. She also was a volunteer at Goodwill Industries. Amelia enjoyed cooking, baking, playing games, traveling, and taking walks.
