He served in the Navy in World War II and was a retired businessman. Husband of Betty Selby and father of Mrs. Pearl Crane, son of the late William B. and Annie Selby and brother of Roy Selby. Friends may call at the Hilton Funeral Home, Barnesville, Md., on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, November 10, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Barnesville. Pearl (Selby) Crain, ’75 Life has been anything but easy for Pearl (Selby) Crain lately. Diagnosed with acute myelogenic leukemia in October, she has been through chemotherapy, surgery and an extended hospital stay since that time. Married to Ken Crain, ’74, Pearl has three children and two grandchildren. Two of her children graduated from PAA in the 1990s, and Ken owns his own business. Since graduating from PAA, Pearl became a registered nurse and has worked in the ICU of Portland’s Adventist Medical Center for more than a decade. 3. Obit: Damascus resident Pearl Ann Crain, 49, died Friday, July 28, at her home. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, at Hood View Seventh-day Adventist Church, 26775 S.E. Kelso Road, Boring. Pearl was born Dec. 20, 1956, in Germantown, Md., to Roland and Dezzetta (Brown) Selby. She graduated from Portland Adventist Academy in 1975. In 1975, Pearl married Ken Crain, her high school sweetheart. She earned a nursing degree from Mt. Hood Community College and worked as a charge nurse in the intensive care unit at Portland Adventist Hospital. Survivors include her husband of Damascus; daughter, Carie Pyke of Fairview; sons, Jason Crain of Vancouver, Wash., and Corey Crain of Corvallis; brother, Ray Williams of Portland; and two grandchildren. Memorial contributions can be made in Pearl’s name to Northwest Adventist Federal Credit Union 10333 S.E. Main St., Portland, 97216, to assist Portland Adventist Medical Center employees in need. A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006, in Hood View Seventh-day Adventist Church in Boring for Pearl Ann Crain, who died July 28 at age 49. Pearl Selby was born Dec. 20, 1956, in Germantown, Md. She graduated from Portland Adventist Academy. A registered nurse, she was a charge nurse in the intensive care unit of Portland Adventist Hospital. In 1975, she married Ken.

Beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend, Nicole Marie Gonzales, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2005, at the age of 39, to join her mother, Susan Suhadolnik. Nicole was born February 15, 1966, in Edmonds, Washington, at Stevens Hospital. She spent her life in Lake Forest Park, Washington, where she raised her two daughters. Nicole is survived by her husband of 18 years, Robert Gonzales, Jr.; her two daughters, Chinae' and Chelsea Gonzales. She also leaves her father, Dr. Nicholas (Marilyn) Suhadolnik Sr.; her grandmother Arletta Wilson; sister, Sara (Ian Thompson) Suhadolnik; her brothers, Jeff (Tina) Suhadolnik, and Nicholas Suhadolnik Jr; aunts, Nancy Chulz, Wendy Granrath, and Kass Wilson, and her uncle, Kevin Wilson; mother-in-law Emma Cooper; father-in-law, Robert Gonzales Sr.; sister-in-law, Auide Woodward, and brother-in-law, George Cooper; as well as two very much loved nieces, Selene Suhadolnik, and Tessa Thompson; and her six nephews, Zachary, Nicholas, David, Elijah, and Ara Suhadolnik, and Samuel Thompson. Nicole's courage through her twelve-year journey was an inspiration to many. We were truly blessed to enjoy the time God gave her to us. Nicole you wll be truly missed and never forgotten. - Sandy Hansen went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 2, 2007. She was born September 15, 1944, in Long Beach, California. She lived with her parents in Pullman, WA, Benton City and Anacortes, WA. She graduated from high school in 1962. She married the love of her life, Russ Hansen August 13, 1962. She went to Columbia Basin College in Pasco for three years in 1992 and graduated with a bachelor's degree in the Hazmat program. Her husband's career took her from Anacortes, WA, to Bellingham, WA, Hawaii, Southern California and then Tri-Cities in 1981. She was a born again Christian, Spirit filled, and a Mighty Prayer Warrior, and was a member of Highway Tabernacle Church of God in Kennewick. She was a manager of cosmetics with Montgomery Ward, real estate agent, a manager: The Band Box Music Store, secretary for Dayspring Ministries, and a volunteer board member of La Clinica in Pasco, where she had to retire because of her health. Her hobbies were playing games, arts and crafts and a coin collection. She was the most giving person you would ever meet. A loving wife, Mother and Grandmother. Her grandkids loved coming over to her house and looking into the surprise box. Survivors are Russ Hansen, husband, Pasco, Rob Hansen, son and daughter-in-law, Marie, Nathaniel Hansen, grandson, Danielle Hansen, granddaughter from Benton City. Randy Hansen, son and daughter-in-law, Emily, granddaughter, Lydia in Kennewick, Janet Pleasant, sister and her husband, Harold, Prosser. Melissa Kenton, niece and her husband, Kevin, Amanda, great-niece and Geoffrey, great-great-nephew, Prosser. Sean Michaels, nephew, Prosser, and other nieces, Marnae Harding, sister-in-law, and grandchildren from Chelan, Jay Harding, nephew, Chelan, Gayle Harding, niece, Southern California, aunt, Shirley, uncle, Cal Hanes and family, Biloxi, Mississippi, uncle, Earl Halverson and aunt, Jewel and family, Billings, Montana, uncle, Bob and aunt, Francis Halverson from Auburn, and grandchildren, sons: Schell, Scott and Mark and families, sister-in-law, Jeane White, and grandchildren, Sumner, WA, niece, Kandace, and John Hodgson and family, Covington, WA, Scott, nephew, and wife, Shawna and family, Fox Island, WA. Preceding her in death were Ann, Charles, Dorothy and Richard Harding. Our family would like to thank the University of Washington, The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center: Seattle, Lourdes Medical Center, Kadlec Medical Center, La Clinica, The Tri-City Chaplanicy and Hospice, and all the doctors and nurses who helped in her care. Pastors Terry and Jackie Wetmore, and the Highway Tabernacle, and others for all they're Prayers, help and support. Columbia Memorial Gardens in Pasco are in charge of arrangements. A private family burial will be held at Cityview Cemetery in Pasco. A memorial service will be held at Highway Tabernacle Church of God, February 18, at 3 p.m. in Kennewick with Pastor Terry Wetmore officiating. The Great Physician and Healer Jesus, took her home so she didn't have to suffer eternally! Some of the things she said before she passed away were: "The rest of the journey is mine. Don't weep for me I'm with Jesus!"

- Russell Irvin Hansen went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 16, 2021. He was born on February 13th, 1938, in Anacortes, WA. He graduated from Anacortes High School in 1956. He married the love of his life, Sandra Hansen, on August 13th, 1962, and are now together in heaven. Russell and Sandra had 2 sons.
He worked in a plywood mill with his father. He served in the National Guard in radio communications. Russell started playing guitar when he was 13 years old, and his mom would let him practice as much as he wanted. He started playing professionally at age 24 and continued for 30 years. He worked in Hawaii for some time before moving to California in 1967. Russell worked his way to the top clubs, including the Palamino Club. During that time, he won two Academy awards from Academy of Country Music as "Guitarist of the Year". Russell worked with such artists as Roy Clark, Loretta Lynn, Freddy Fender, Buck Owens, Willie Nelson, just to name a few. The highlight of his career was working with Roy Clark and Freddy Fender at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
After accepting Jesus as his Lord and Savior, God called him to work for Him. He and his family moved to the Tri-Cities in 1981. He worked in local clubs and then was called to work with Day Spring Ministries leading worship and giving the message. He also taught guitar for 25 years at Ted Brown Music. His greatest treasure next to Jesus was his family, church, and being a light to others. He would always talk about the Lord. He did have a gift with people and would love others as God led him to. He made an impact on many lives, spreading good news and loving his family.
He is survived by his son Rob's wife (Marie), son Randall (Emily) Hansen, Grandchildren, Nathaniel, Danielle and Lydia, and great grandchild Christian (Nathaniel and Ariel). Russell was preceded in death by his wife Sandra and son Rob. Russell will be missed and has left a legacy of love, faithfulness, and hope. (Aug 2021)

2. ROBIN RUSSELL HANSEN
Robin Russell Hansen peacefully went to heaven January 19, 2015. His journey on earth is complete. Rob was a loving, faithful, caring husband of 30 years, proud father, brother, son, uncle and cherished friend to many. Rob was born in Anacortes, Washington on April 30, 1963.
He spent most of his childhood in California where in high school he played football. In 1981, he moved with his parents and brother to Kennewick Washington where he graduated from Kennewick High. On February 11, 1984, Rob and Marie were married. After almost 10 years of being together, they were blessed with Nathaniel then Danielle. Rob was the best dad ever; He was so very loving, caring and proud.
Rob worked for Payless Drug Store for more than 10 years and then Walmart for almost 19 years where he made many laugh and whom he loved and cared about. Rob coached Little League baseball in Benton City where he lived for 19 years. Rob was diagnosed with Pulminary Hypertension in April 2014. Even with knowing it would end in death, Rob fought the good phight with strength, courage and laughter. Rob is survived by his wife Marie, son Nathaniel, daughter Danielle, father Russ, brother Randy, wife Emily, Aunt Janet, her husband Harold, and many more relatives.
His memory will live on and we will never forget what a great man he was. He was preceded in death by his mother Sandra Hansen. The Celebration of Life is Tuesday the 27th of January 2015 at 1pm at the First Baptist Church 1103 Horne Dr. Benton City.
