Leona Cora Haskins, age 102, died February 22, 2021. She was born and grew up in Caddo County, OK to Golda and Tom Rhodes. She married Joseph Lloyd Haskins (deceased 1992) and they were married for over 50 years.
Preceded in her death were Leona's sisters, Olive Williams, Margie Hill, brother, Floyd Rhodes and son, Verdell Haskins. Surviving Leona are daughters, Carlene Rathert, Rosalyn Fernandez, Sylvia Abraham and sister-in-law, Mary Sue Haskins, as well as 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Leona enjoyed cooking for her family every Sunday, sewing and embroidering. She was also very passionate for her flower garden. After moving to California, Leona was employed at Hunts Cannery, Diablo Systems and retired from Xerox Corp.

Wilma was daughter to William George and Pearl Cardnell of Grand Junction, Colo., and was the younger sister of Margaret Karppinen and Emily Osborne. The family lived in Glenwood Springs, Colo. At an early age she married Ernest Roland Womack and together they moved to Sacramento, the home of most of his family. They had four children including Michael William (1933-78), Marneal Ingri (b. 1934), Isla Mae (1935-84), and Robert Roland (b. 1936).
In the early 1950s she and Ernest ran the San Juan Fountain in Fair Oaks (now Noel's Real Estate) and had operated a pear orchard in what is now Folsom Lake. Just before Ernest's death due to cancer in 1956. Wilma began work at McClellan Air Base cohere she worked as a supervisor of Technical Files until she retired in the late 1970s. It was at McClellan that she met Laurence Hunstock. In 1961 she and Larry married, but she was again widowed in 1984.
Wilma will always be remembered as hard working, curious, and deeply involved with all her family and friends. She is survived by daughter Mameal and son-in-law Robert Brown who live in Fair Oaks, and son Robert and daughter-in-law June Womack who live in Elko, Nev. She is also survived by seven of her nine grandchildren, Diane Brown Kiley and husband Kevin Kiley, Kimberlie Womack Moore and husband Mike Moore, Roland Womack and wife Nadine Womack, Luke Womack and wife Rene Womack, Larry Womack, Michael Womack II, and Ernest Womack (granddaughter Patricia Brown Gallagher died in 1986, and grandson Robert Brown Jr. died in 1982), 13 great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
In recent years Wilma lived at Merrill Gardens in Citrus Heights and then at Carmichael Oaks. She made several new friends at these residences. When she broke her hip in February, she moved to Manor Care, a skilled nursing facility, where she was compassionately cared for until her death. She will be buried at East Lawn, Sacramento.2. A funeral for Michael William Womack, 45, of Rescue, will be held today, Oct. 18 at 2 p.m. at Memory Chapel, under the auspices of the El Dorado Lodge 26, F. & A. M. Mr. Womack died Oct 15 in an airplane accident at Cameron Park. He was born in Sacramento and lived eight years in El Dorado county. He was a business agent and district representative for 14 years for Operating Engineers local 3. Mr. Womack was a member of El Dorado Lodge 26, F. & A. M. of Placerville, El Dorado County Planning Commision, El Dorado County Sheriff's Air Patrol Rescue Horsemen's Association, The Grange, The E.A.A. Aircraft Association and a veteran of the Marine Corps. He is survived by his wife, Delores Womack of Rescue; one daughter, Brenda Womack of Rescue; three sons, Michael W. Charles (Chuck) Allen Judy went to be with our Lord November 7, 2007. Born December 8, 1940 in Hayward, CA, Chuck was a carpenter in the Bay Area and later received his Contractor's license moving to Kelseyville, CA for approximately 20 years building industrial structures. Chuck returned to Hayward in 1985 and started doing work as handyman. There wasn't much Chuck couldn't build. Chuck was a skilled craftsman and took great pride in his work. Chuck loved to travel, especially the back roads discovering new places and meeting new people. Chuck loved playing cards, especially pinochle, collecting videos, telling jokes, and helping his family and friends when needed.
Preceded by his daughter, Janet, sister, Loretta, and father, John, Chuck is survived by his children, Charles, Vickie (Jim) Armstrong of Brentwood, CA, Steven (Jenni) of Cobb, CA, James of Kelseyville, CA, and John of Kelseyville, CA; his mother, Mildred of San Lorenzo, sister's Cynthia (Ken) Shigley of Ahwahnee, CA, Linda (Bernie) Haug of Livermore, CA, and Norma (Russ) Smith of San Lorenzo, CA, 5 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren and an Uncle to many.
