2. Obit: AYER: Jonathan W. “Jay” Doe, 67, of Ayer, formerly of Harvard, died unexpectedly Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Nashoba Valley Medical Center, Ayer.
Jay was born in Ayer, December 5, 1953 a son of the late Whitney C. and Charlotte J. (Johnson) Doe and resided in Harvard before moving to Ayer in 1979. He was a graduate of Applewild School in Fitchburg and Lawrence Academy in Groton. While at Lawrence Academy Jay was the goalie for their hockey team.
Jay held the position of Maintenance Supervisor for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation until his retirement in 2018. Throughout his life he also worked on his family’s farm, Doe Orchards in Harvard.
He enjoyed traveling in his recreational vehicle, spending time with his family, going on cruises and vacations and listening to music. He had a great love for car racing and even raced his own Datsun 510.
He leaves his wife of 42 years, Ann K. (Wyman) Doe; two daughters and two son-in-laws, Kristen A. and Stephen Picard of Townsend, Katelyn W. and Bryan Fox of Lunenburg; his brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence C. Doe and Pamela Lawson of Harvard; his sister, Nancy C. Doe of Leominster and two grandchildren, Grace and Nicholas Picard. A brother-in-law Jim "Skeeter" Wyman of Groton and Florida, and two sister-in-laws Pam Wyman and Gail Januskiewicz and brother-in-law Mark Januskiewicz of Ayer. He leaves many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews as well. He had many, many long time friends including his "best friend" (next to Ann) Mike Padula. Jay was loved by all.
A graveside service will be held 11:30 AM Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Bellevue Cemetery, Still River Road, Harvard.

137. Thomas Joseph Alord (Joseph Henry Alord , Joseph Henry Alord , Matilda Hart , Thomas Donovan ) was born on 14 Nov 1950 in Leominster, Worcester Co., MA. He died on 14 May 1998 in Haverhill, Essex Co., MA. Thomas was buried in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill, Essex Co., MA. He served in the military Vietnam - U.S Navy - 11 Sep 1974.

HAVERHILL -- Thomas J. Alord, 47, of 150 Water St., died yesterday at Penacook Place. He was a son of Hazel (McAllister) Futch and the late Joseph Alord and the stepson of George O. Futch, who died in 1995.
Born and educated in Leominster, Mr. Alord graduated from Leominster High with the Class of 1969. He joined the Navy the following year and served off the Vietnam coast aboard the USS Forrestal.
He had worked as a chef at the 99 Restaurant in Andover and at Pub Denny in Haverhill. He enjoyed darts and belonged to the Crescent Yacht Club Dart Team.
Besides his mother, he leaves a daughter Lenore Alord of South Carolina, brother James R. of Haverhill, sisters Barbara Smith of Westminster and Kathleen A. Alord of Boston, stepbrothers George Futch of Barnstead, N.H., Vaun ''Daniel'' Futch of Nashua, N.H., Jeffrey Futch of Hockley, Texas, Mark Futch of Haverhill, stepsisters Karen Currier of Lawrence, Noreen Greenwood of Nashua, N.H., and Cressa Teal of Haverhill, one grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be tomorrow at 10 a.m. at Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main St., Haverhill. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, also in Haverhill.

Notes:
1. James R. Alord died in Sarasota, Fla. on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010 after a long illness. He graduated high school in 1975 from Haverhill High. Jim was tri-captain of the football team, broke and held the record for the longest javelin toss in Massachusetts, and was outstanding on the basketball court. After high school, he joined the Army where he was stationed in Korea as an MP. When he returned home, he worked at the post office. He then moved to Sarasota when he became ill.
He is survived by his two sisters.

Thomas married Sylvia Ellen “SunShine” Carter wed ?. Sylvia was born on 21 Aug 1958 in Los Angeles Co., CA. She died on 21 Nov 2021 in Anderson, Anderson Co., SC.

2. Obit: Sylvia Ellen “SunShine” Carter age 63 of Pickens, SC passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2021 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born August 21, 1958, in Los Angeles, CA she was the daughter of the late Frankie Joseph Carter and Ruby Mildred (Jowers).
SunShine is survived by her husband of 30 years Mr. Bobby Riddle. She enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening, traveling, and found herself to be most happy anywhere outdoors. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Ruby Carter of Pickens, SC, Lenora Alord of Greenville, SC, Dorothy Horwath of Stephens City, VA, Joshua Wisner of Covington, GA, and Autumn Perry of Andalusia, AL, fourteen grandchildren, and 2 great- grandchildren. Two nephews Paul and Clifton DeLoach.
In addition to her parents SunShine is preceded in death by her brother Clifton Bennett.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM at 2216 Table Rock Road Pickens, SC 29671.

LEOMINSTER -- Susan B. Lamarche, 33 years old, of Cocoa, FL, formerly of Leominster, died April 8, 2012.
She is survived by her parents, Michael G. and Nancy B. (Piper) Lamarche of Leominster; sister, Amy J.L. Hebert and her husband, William of Leominster; a niece; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Susan was born September 20, 1978 in Leominster, and had lived in Cocoa, FL for the past year. She graduated from Germaine Lawrence School in Arlington, attended Mount Wachusett Community College and the Bancroft School of Small Animal Massage Therapy. Susan was a member of St. Leo's Parish in Leominster.
