Rudolph Baldarelli, 98 Newton street, was fined $100 by Special Justice A. M. Levy in district court today for the illegal manufacture of intoxicating liquor. He was given a month to pay the fine. The liquors and utensils seized at a raid on his premises were ordered forfeited. He was represented by Atty. Paul F. San Clemente while City Solicitor Andre A. Gelinas represented the government. Baldarelli retracted a plea of not guilty entered previously and said guilty today. The attorney asked for the return of the utensils especially a wash boiler seized at the raid. Liquor and utensils seized in a raid at premises occupied by Luigi Baldarelli, also of 95 Newton street, were ordered returned as the samples contained but 2.75 per cent alcohol. In addition to his daughter he leaves a son, James Baldarelli of this city. The funeral will be from the Smith funeral home Monday morning with a solemn high mass of requiem at 9 o'clock in St. Athony's church. Burial will be in St. Bernard's cemetery.
