2432. William Heath died on 29 May 1652 in Roxbury, Suffolk Co., MA.

1. William Heath embarked in London, England, in ship "Lion," arrived in Boston, Massachusetts, September 16, 1623, and settled in Roxbury, Massachusetts. He was accompanied by his wife Mary and five children, one of whom may have been Mary Spear, daughter of his second wife by former husband. William Heath took the oath of allegiance, was made freeman, March 4, 1632-33, and was representative at first assembly of deputies. May 14, 1634-37-39 to 1643 and in 1645 for Dover. He died in Roxbury. May 29, 1652. "an able, godly and faithful brother. " He made his will the day before he died. His widow died December 15, 1659. Their children were: 1. Isaac, confirmed m Roxbury Church, November 23, 1651. 2. Mary. 3. Peleg, see forward. 4. Hannah. 5. Mary, probably Mary Spear, as above referred to. 2528. Robert Stiles was born in 1634 in England. He died on 30 Jul 1690 in Boxford, Essex Co., MA. He married Elizabeth Frye.

1. Robert Stiles was married (by Bradstreet) Oct. 4, 1660, to Elizabeth (dau. of John and Anna) Frye, of Andover, Mass., who was born in England in 1637 {seefoot-note, pp. 16, 17). According to Boxford records Robert Stiles had a second wife also named Elizabeth, who survived him. He died July 30, 1690 {Perley's History of Boxford, p. 28). This date is probably correct, but it does not tally with a record furnished us by Mr. Perley himself.
To his widow Elizabeth was granted, one month after his death, the administration of his estate (Hist. Boxford, p. 28). She was admitted to the church Feb. 21, 1703 {Boxford Records). She must have been the person referred to in the following from the town records: "Mch. 2, 1696-7, a new road laid out to Widow Stiles' new field '' {Hist. Boxford, p. 133). In 1702, Widow Stiles was admitted to full communion. —Boxford Records.

II. Elizabeth b. March 15, 1662 ; m. July 8, 1800, John (b. Aug. 7, 1657), son of Samuel and Sarah (Keies) Buswell of Boxford. John Buswell was a surveyor and fence-viewer at Boxford in 1689. In 1716 he was chosen grave-digger, the first one in Boxford. In 1703, he and his wife were dismissed from the church in Topstield to the one just formed in Boxford. He probably died not far from 1740. Children (born in Boxford, from Hist, of Boxford):

Nov. 15, 1774, in her 5Sth year. Issue: (I) Ruth, b. 1746; m. David Butinan, a cooper, in 1778. She d. May, 1810. He d. 1816, ae. 68 years. Had: Joseph, Esther, Hitty John (2) John, b. Sept. 4, 1748, rem. to Rindge, N. H., when about 21 years of age. The farm on which he first settled at Rindge has remained in possession of his descendants, being now (1884) owned and occupied by his grandson, Thomas Buswell. He m. Rebecca (dau. of John Demary of Rindge, May 30, 1771. He was a prosperous farmer; d. at R., Feb. 26, 1828. His wife d. April 11, 1824. Children {Seefoot-note, p. 17):
